Aloud ("the App") is designed privacy-first. This policy explains what information the App handles and how.

The short version: your data never leaves your device

• The App has no account registration.
• The App operates no servers of its own.
• Your departure times and labels are never transmitted off your device.

What the App stores

Departure times, their labels, and your voice preferences are stored in a private container on your device. Nothing is shared with any other app, and nothing leaves the device.

Speech

Spoken announcements are produced by the speech synthesiser built into iOS, on the device. Nothing you enter is sent to a speech service or to any other network service.

Audio

The App plays audio in the background so the countdown can reach you while you are using other apps. The App does not use the microphone and does not record anything.

Alarms

The departure alarm is delivered through Apple's built-in iOS mechanism (AlarmKit). Alarm labels and times are managed only on your device.

What we do not collect

• No personal information such as names or email addresses.
• No behavioral tracking; no advertising identifiers (IDFA).
• No analytics of any kind.

Third parties

The App does not share or sell your information to third parties. The App is distributed and billed through Apple's App Store, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Deleting your data

Everything the App stores lives on your device. Deleting the App removes all of its data.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as needed. Significant changes will be announced on this page.
